CoPerceptuo Case Study

Not for profit consultancy case study

How we saved this organisation £200,000

We've recently worked with a Northwest Not-for-profit organisation to provide a full in-depth analysis of their current IT infrastructure and Service.

Background

The organisation in question was looking to get a technology review of their IT services, following some internal changes and resource allocation challenges which included; the dissolving of some internal departments, staff turnover and new senior leadership.

The brief

This organisation in question had a number of internal challenges which meant they were now planning to create a new IT function to serve the wider business. Before doing so they needed;

  • To get a full understanding of the current scope of IT services provided
  • Provide the relevant data and evidence to plan a new IT operating model
  • Identify a clear transition plan for the operational changes
  • Identify savings opportunities.

Traditional approach

The traditional approach to achieving this project would have been to engage with external consultants to collate, review and extract various internal documents, however, as a not-for-profit our client needed to ensure all spending was justified, as well as considering speed of implementation.

Our solution

CoPerceptuo was able to cut through the need for the amount of consultancy effort, reducing time to insight and reducing cost against alternative services and solutions in the market. This involved a small wrap of effort to help the customer form the right insights that fit the goals and objectives that the organisation is trying to achieve and drive the right recommendations. Not only this, the recommendations needed to be underpinned by evidence that has subsequently satisfied executives that the recommended approach is right for the organisation moving forward, which we were able to achieve through CoPerceptuo.

Results

Through using the CoPerceptuo software we’ve identified over £200k of savings, over 70 areas of improvement the organisation could make and identified over 25 initiatives that the organisation could implement to drive customer quality, reduce risk and enable savings.

Next steps

The next steps are for the customer to continue to add to the data set as they change and continue to make decisions based on the insights being generated from CoPerceptuo.
