At the end of 2022, we launched the company, CoPerceptuo, to establish a new way of enabling strategic business decisions to be made, whilst reducing the need for costly consultants.
Now, we are working hard to build, test, and bring to market a fantastic application that we and our other investors feel will shape the future of the consulting industry.
So, how did we get here? And what's the driving force behind this new application?
As founders, collectively we have over 45 years in the IT industry with more than half of that spent in IT strategy, advisory, and consulting roles where our focus was on helping clients make strategic decisions based on evidence.
The organisations we've worked with and the fantastic experiences with clients we've had over that time have helped shape how we approach the services we deliver today. Recently, we have been providing clients with the evidence they need to make decisions on how to use technology to achieve their long-term organisational strategic aims and objectives. We have done this by adding a unique data analysis approach to our long-standing consultancy methodology.
Over the course of our consultancy engagements, we were finding the same risks and issues cropping up time and time again, but with slightly different root causes. This made it difficult for clients on their own to objectively analyse and create solutions.
Whilst continually trying to attain new levels of service quality for our clients, we developed a new data-driven process that analyses and presents consultancy findings in a meaningful and insightful way for our clients. By testing this method over a number of engagements with clients, CoPerceptuo is now at a point where we believe we can take this into a self-service application.
As part of CoPerceptuo we have developed:
- A structured data model, that:
- Clearly defines the data to collect across an IT service
- Provides the patterns on which to relate data and drive insight on which to inform valuable business solutions.
- A number of templated charts and insights, providing evidence to support or disprove hypotheses and solution options, based on risks and issues found.
- A self-service, digital approach to collecting both anecdotal and structured data, providing a means of corroborating and increasing accuracy from data collected.
- A support process on which to support data gathering and insight.
How and where we collect the data from is incredibly important to the consultancy experience but equally, we’ve found, it’s also very important for the accuracy and provenance of the findings. Our approach provides new perspectives in the same time window as an existing consultancy engagement, but we’ve found that we can get a much broader picture and increase the number of insights and perspectives that surfaced. All this gives a much richer set of findings and provides a greater set of insights on which to build recommendations to improve the value of the IT service.
All of our experience is being baked into these insights and the ways in which they are generated. We'd love more organisations to be able to benefit from the experience we've had and the insights we're able to generate from our consultancy engagements and soon you will. Find out more today.
